The Astronomy Club is a dynamic, student-led community dedicated to exploring the wonders of the cosmos. Acting as a gateway to the universe, the club aims to ignite a lifelong passion for space exploration, astrophysics, and planetary science among students. We believe that looking at the night sky shouldn't just be an act of wonder, but an opportunity for discovery, scientific inquiry, and hands-on learning.
Whether you are a complete novice who has never looked through a lens or an amateur astrophotographer with your own gear, our club provides an inclusive space to expand your horizons. Through our activities, members develop valuable critical thinking skills, learn to navigate the night sky, and gain a profound understanding of our place in the universe.
We bring the universe a little closer to campus through a diverse lineup of interactive events. These include Stargazing & Skywatches for tracking constellations, Expert Guest Lectures from professional astronomers, Hands-On Technical Workshops on telescope mechanics and astrophotography, and Field Trips to premier observatories and planetariums.
